You Were Blind, But Now You See

What does it mean to truly see? In John 9, we encounter a man who has never known sight, marginalized by society and dismissed by religious leaders, yet he becomes the unlikely centerpiece of one of the most profound miracles in the Gospel. The story is not simply about physical healing. It is about the deeper blindness that afflicts the human heart. As we walk through this narrative, we are confronted with a striking paradox: the man born blind ends up seeing more clearly than the religious experts who have studied Scripture their entire lives. The greatest barrier to belief, we discover, is not a lack of evidence but a heart unwilling to receive the truth. This message challenges us to examine our own spiritual sight. Have we truly seen Jesus for who He is, or are we, like the Pharisees, so committed to our own frameworks that we miss the miracle standing right in front of us?
